42-Hour Domestic Relations Training

Taught by recognized local and national mediators Dr. Susan Raines, this workshop for experienced domestic relations mediators will provide you with additional techniques for managing special issues in domestic violence.

40 hour General Mediation Training, registered neutral with the Georgia office of Dispute Resolution.


The 42-hour training, covers all aspects of the divorce process. Topics covered are child support, parenting, financial issues within the family, and the complexities of diverse cultures. Domestic mediation is the most often used and referred to in the Court system. Prerequisites: Trainees seeking to become registered domestic relations mediators with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution (GODR) must have first completed the General Civil Mediation requirements and have a 4-year college degree. Mediators have 18 months after training to become register by GODR as a domestic relations mediators, or this (and all GODR-approved training) expires. 12 hours of Continuing Legal Education available at cost
